Her passion and drive to be there for animals at their time of need, combined with a love for surgery and medicine drove her to become a vet. At this point in her career, her special interest lies with soft tissue surgery, dentals and dermatology.
Dr. Kirat goes by the aim to always be doing the best she can in being there for her patients (cats and dogs) and helping them have a better quality of life, always trying to keep improving as a vet and learning along the way. Also also believes in guiding and being patient with owners to help their own relationship with their furkids.
While working at The Gentle Vet is is also continuing her education by attending dental course/training and radiographic imaging courses.
After work, Dr. Kirat gets to spend time with playful and mischievous Kulfi, her dachshund cross, rescued from shelter group as a pup 5 years ago.
When not attending to patients, she loves spending time with her husband and dog, family and friends, travelling, taking care of herself (so important if you want to take care of others!)
